Contemporary Eclectic @ Double Bay Residences

A woman sitting at a desk, working on a computer, near a large window with a city view. Two people are standing behind her, looking into a closet with clothes. The room has wood-paneled walls and a warm color scheme.

A carefully curated home where every room tells its own story; united by craftsmanship and character.

Living room with a white couch, throw pillows, a wall-mounted TV, a dining table with a teapot and cups, and a ceiling with recessed lighting.

Some homes are designed to impress. Others are designed to reflect the people who live within them. For Jason and Faith, Founder and Co-Founder of coesa, every room is an expression of their craftsmanship and personality. As specialists in tailored soft furnishings, curtains, and blinds, the couple envisioned a home that embodies the same care and precision that define their work.

Living room with beige sofa, leopard print pillow, black dining table with tea set, textured brown curtain, and air conditioning unit.

The living room embraces a timeless palette of soft whites and warm creams, creating an atmosphere that feels elegant and enduring. Upholstered furnishings soften the space, and concealed doors reveal generous storage. Framing the generous balcony are custom curtains that gently filter light and connect the interior with the outdoors.

A bedroom with a bed and a headboard with black panther pattern, a series of designer toys on the windowsill, including three large black and orange figurines and small figurines, a pink cabinet, and a Labubu doll on top of the cabinet.
Office workspace with a computer monitor displaying an architectural image, a keyboard, a mouse, a mug, and a green leather chair in front of a wooden desk against a wall with built-in shelves.
A wooden corner wall with a small green office chair in front of it.

The bedroom introduces a more expressive character. Drawing on their expertise in bespoke soft furnishings, the homeowners designed a custom leopard print bedhead, complemented by a sculptural bed frame.

The true centrepiece, however, is an L shaped run of bespoke cabinetry, where beautifully matched wood grain flows seamlessly across each panel, celebrating the natural beauty and craftsmanship of the material.

By the window, a terracotta toned workspace also serves as a display for their collection of Bearbricks and Pop Mart collectibles. Terracotta toned blinds cast a warm, ambient glow, enriching the warmth of the timber throughout the space.

A master bedroom with a bed featuring white and gold bedding, gold embroidered pillows, and a headboard with two vertical lighting fixtures and dark curtains behind it.

Inspired by the bold elegance of Gucci, the master bedroom embraces a moody, high-contrast palette of matte charcoal and cream, warmed up by rich medium woods, gold lighting, and a pop of terracotta. A tall, plush bedhead serves as the room's main statement piece, complemented by smart curtains that open seamlessly to reveal the view beyond.

A master bedroom with a bed covered in gold and white patterned bedding, a nightstand with decorative items, a wooden door, a split air conditioning unit, and a wall with framed art and lighting fixtures.

The sophisticated space is completed by a custom wardrobe featuring integrated lighting that you can easily turn on and off by a switch.
